The mechanical specifications of this vice are the same as those of the mechanical MPT/58 model.
A hydraulic cylinder which is operated by a hydraulic pedal pump controlling the automatic opening and closing of the vice. This feature makes this vice suitable for mass production machining operations. The automatic closing stroke is about 10 mm with step 3 mm increments, in order to comply with accident prevention standards.
The vice is normally equipped with indented prismatic jaws.
The vice comes ready for use with the preset pedal pump.
